Overview:

Aimly is looking for an AWS Solutions Architect to support the launch and scaling of our web application. You’ll work with a small team of dedicated team members to ensure Aimly can deliver the best product to our customers while enabling our business to scale efficiently. Your contributions will have major impacts on the success of our platform and company, and your ideas can be heard, reviewed, and implemented quickly since we are a small team.

In This Role, You will:

  • Responsible for planning, implementing, and testing Aimly’s network, servers and databases.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure a quality product is delivered on time and budget.
  • Design and maintain an effective CI/CD pipeline to manage quality as the product matures.
  • Produce testable code that has test coverage.
  • Optimize applications for the best user experience and scalability.
  • Align with executive leadership to make the appropriate trade-offs to balance user experience, security, complexity and delivery.
  • Guide the team to evaluate the risks and benefits of design decision

Experience with:

  • Establishing scalable network environments utilizing Amazon Web Services, including but not limited to: S3, Networking, ECR, Terraform, Fargate, Access Control, CloudWatch, SSM
  • Implementing and managing a CI/CD pipeline through GitHub ensuring configuration compliance.
  • Incorporating industry best practices for cybersecurity, including but not limited to: managing DNS, rate limits, firewalls, access controls, custom AWS policies
  • Familiarity with React and Node.JS to accommodate design decisions.
  • Demonstrated leadership in an engineering environment in driving best practices

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $110.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • AWS: 3 years (Preferred)
